The GUI extension (Freeware) is the the most easy to use but it sometimes
ties you a up a little. The Intuition extension gives greater control and
is still quite easy to get to work.. The JDint (PD) is useless as far as
I can see.. The best and most difficult way (personal oppinion) is the
OSdevkit extension (Comercial/Shareware ?), it gives complete control of
everything and access to many other parts of the system (locale, datatypes,
etc.), but it's quite tricky to use...
Try and visit the extension-list at my homepage to get the 'overview' :)
